ContentQuo helps you get started (or continue) with linguistic quality measurement while avoiding most of the hassle. We add quality management superpowers to your TMS, but also work equally well in standalone mode.

And even if you already have some features for quality in your existing tools, do check us out. People say we're pretty unique!

Faster insights, less risk
Monitor your translation quality with real-time dashboards to assess risk & uncover trends. Keep your company safe from harm!
Measuring language quality is a great start, but collecting data without analyzing it can only move the needle that much.

That's why we give you tools to monitor and analyze your translation quality in real time, so that your team can keep a close eye on any quality risks and minimize them going forward.

Quality managers can track quality per language pair or account, while vendor managers can track quality per translator. All in all, you get a holistic view of linguistic quality risk across your enterprise.

Forget Microsoft Excel
Fully automate your quality management process, from defining profiles to analyzing data and providing feedback to vendors
If you ever tried collecting translation quality issues in Excel spreadsheets, extracting data from them for analysis, and keeping the entire team on the same version, you know how frustrating that could be.

Fortunately, there's a better way! ContentQuo allows you to eliminate Microsoft Excel from your language quality planning, measurement, and analysis processes.

Manage localization quality with purpose-built, integrated tools that help you keep your entire operations running smoothly at scale.

If you have been measuring language quality for a while, you must already have a pile of legacy data on your hands that you don't want to lose.

Fortunately, ContentQuo is built on top of MQM-DQF, the most complete, standardized translation quality issue type catalog currently in existence. That makes it easy to bring your quality data in - and get it back out if needed.

You can implement pretty much any quality profile in ContentQuo, including such classics as LISA QA model and SAE J2450, but also your own custom-designed, dynamic profiles. Doesn't matter if you have just 1 quality model or 100 - we've got you covered!

Manual or automated evaluation? Both!
Use expert reviewers, automated QA tools, or both. Assess human translation or machine translation. Measure source or target quality.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's your pricing model? Do you charge per user?
No, we'll never do that. Per-user pricing for SaaS is so 20th century!

Our pricing depends only on the amount of words you actually review within the product, for all your target languages combined. For example:
  • you localize 1M words per year into 10 languages = 10M words per year
  • out of those you evaluate (on average) 12% = 1.2M words per year (= 100K words per month)
  • you only pay for 1.2M words per year

Pay monthly, or go annual with a 15% discount. Enterprise plan (annual contracts only) offers unlimited words, on-premise hosting, custom integrations, and extended support.

You can also buy affordable word packs to temporarily increase your review limits until the end of current subscription period.
Do I need a Translation Management System (TMS) in order to use ContentQuo?
Absolutely not!

ContentQuo works really well in standalone mode without any TMS whatsoever. Just keep in mind that in this case, you'll have to upload & download bilingual files and create users manually.

Beginning without TMS integration makes for a very easy start, and you can always add a TMS connector later.
Does ContentQuo measure translation quality automatically?
Yes and no.

ContentQuo can integrate with 3rd party automated translation Quality Control tools (note: we don't build our own) and turns any such tool into a Quality Evaluation tool. Such tools allow you to get a "quick & dirty" estimate for certain aspects of linguistic quality.

They tend to be pretty good for some quality aspects, like Terminology. However, none of the tools (as of early 2018) can reliably assess such important aspects as Accuracy or Style.

So, bad news: You still need human evaluators or reviewers in most cases.

And good news: with ContentQuo, combining human-powered assessments with automatic quality evaluation is super easy!
Can ContentQuo help with Machine Translation (MT) quality evaluations?
Yes, it's great for both raw MT and PEMT linguistic assessments!

For raw MT, you can review the MT output in the browser, do holistic (e.g. Adequacy-Fluency) or analytical (e.g. TAUS DQF) evaluation, and (optionally) post-edit the output.

For post-edited MT, you can very quickly find out how quality was improved during post-editing by launching an automatic comparison of the original bilingual files with post-edited bilingual files (note: in some file formats, we can also read built-in change tracking markup)

We automatically calculate customizable Edit Distance metrics on the segment and on the project level, so you can track how efficient your engines are in reducing your linguists' workload.

Later on, we'll be adding features to make MT quality comparisons even easier. Stay tuned!
Can ContentQuo be deployed on premise?
Yes, we are glad to offer support for on-premise deployments on the Enterprise plan. Talk to our friendly team about options.

If you're not ready for the Enterprise plan yet, our Guru plan might be a reasonable alternative: it includes hosting your instance of ContentQuo on a dedicated server in our secure cloud data centers.
Can you assess or manage my linguistic quality as service?
We don't do that ourselves, but our partners are here to help!

As a technology company, we focus on providing a platform that makes localization quality management super easy.

If you need a turnkey solution, we'll be happy to connect you to our trusted service partners that are perfectly familiar with our platform and can deliver exactly what you're looking for.
What bilingual file formats does ContentQuo support?
We work best with XLIFF 1.2, both "vanilla" version and many different "flavours": SDL Trados Studio XLIFF (.SDLXLIFF), MemoQ XLIFF (.MQXLIFF .MQXLZ), MemSource XLIFF (.MXLIFF), and WorldServer XLIFF, to name just a few.

Besides, we can handle TMX 1.4b, Microsoft Excel, and more -- even good old .TTX files from Trados TagEditor! All in all, about 20 file formats and varieties are currently supported.
I have lots of existing data on my translation quality. Can I get it into ContentQuo?
Yes, you absolutely can!

On the Journeyman plan, just convert your legacy data to our standard template, and we'll import it for you for a nominal fee.

On the Guru plan, we'll import your legacy data from any Microsoft Excel compatible format for FREE with a 1-year subscription. Certain limitations might apply.

On the Enterprise plan, we offer a turnkey solution to migrate all your legacy data from any source or format. Talk to us about it.
